This online event is based on a report published by WWF in June about transfer and cooperation projects for sustainability transformation at the higher education level in Switzerland and Europe. It showcases how universities and universities of applied sciences collaborate with practice partners while actively integrating students through innovative teaching and project formats.

In line with the third mission, the featured initiatives aim to create real-world impact beyond academia by applying knowledge in practice and generating added value for education and research.

The focus is on transdisciplinary and transformative projects that drive sustainable societal and economic change. Contributions may span different system levels, from organizations and communities to regions or entire countries, and reflect a strong sustainability perspective.

The event begins with a 15-minute presentation introducing a featured project, followed by two engaging real-world case studies. Participants will then have the opportunity to join an interactive Q&A session and exchange ideas. The session concludes with a summary and recommendations from our team.
