Keynote I by Prof. Dr. Marco Rieckmann
The first keynote of the conference was held by Prof. Dr. Marco Rieckmann. His keynote with the title: "ESD and Transfer in Higher Education ", addressed the needed change in Higher Education Institutions. His keynote first defines the term Education for Sustainable Development. He then goes on to talk about ESD Competencies as well as Sustainabilty Transfer. Last but not least he gives a Practical Example of Service Learning.

The second keynote of the conference was held by Prof. Dr. Cécile Renouard. Her keynote with the title: "Implementing the Great Transition in Higher Education Institutions", addressed the needed change in Higher Education Institutions. The Campus de la Transition aim to train and train and transform higher education and the leaders of today and tomorrow, with a view to an ecological and inclusive transition.

The third keynote of the conference was held by Prof. Dr. Magdalène Lévy-Tödter. Her keynote with the title: "Networking universities for the benefit of sustainability", addressed the need for the collaboration between Higher Education Institutions. The DG HochN supports higher education institutions (HEI) and individual actors who are committed to sustainable development in the higher education system and want to support it through research, transfer and application. It acts as an exchange and expert platform for sustainability at HEI, and connects change agents across organizational and status group boundaries.
